Kim Brandvold » Director
Kim was born and raised playing hockey in Oslo, Norway. After playing for the Norwegian National Under 16 (U16) Team, Kim decided to take his hockey career to the next level by enrolling in the prestigious Norwegian College of Elite Sport (NTG). NTG is a secondary school that focuses on each individual's athletic, academic, and character development. This highly intensive program gave Kim a strong foundation to help him succeed both on and off the ice. Kim went on to play for Norway's World Junior Championship Gold Medal winning U18 team, two time member of the Norwegian U20 Team, a full scholarship to UMass Lowell, and professional career in both the Central Hockey League and the United Hockey League. After retiring from playing hockey, Kim began working with Micro Ice Training Center in North Andover, MA as its first General Manager. During his time at Micro Ice, Kim began to work with Dynamic Skating's longtime hockey professionals John McLean and Tom Ford, and later joined the staff as a full time director for the company. At Dynamic Skating, Kim works with players of all ages and abilities and is very passionate about teaching the game to all of the skaters he encounters. While Kim continues to work for Dynamic Skating, he is also the assistant coach of Central Catholic High School's hockey team. During his four years at Central, he has helped the team reach the Super 8 Tournament three times, once making it to the crossover games (2012).
